Spectrum × Saatchi Gallery

We worked closely with Art & Graft to produce the collateral for a Spectrum art auction. The auction was hosted by Saatchi Gallery, supported by The Grouch Club and featured work from the likes of Peter Blake and Charming Baker. Our idea was to reinterpret the Spectrum brand identity in a different tactile way for each printed piece.

photographer David Ryle. We shall be
revealing other elements over the next
few weeks as they become available,
including some nice print.

Mall Galleries

The Threadneedle Prize encourages
both experienced and emerging artists
to submit fresh and intriguing works
that are strong and topical observations
on the world.

We designed an identity for the show
and then applied it across advertising,
print, signage and online marketing.

Cambridge Satchel Co

For The Cambridge Satchel Company
we directed product photography
and produced several pieces of printed
collateral, focusing on their extensive
range of finishes and colours.

As well as collaborating with fashion
labels such as Comme des Garçons, The
Cambridge Satchel Company are now
top selling product on ASOS and
breaking into the American market.

Rebrand for autism charity Spectrum.
There are four main strands to the
disorder which appear in varied and
fluctuating levels. As every case of
autism is different, Spectrum provide
a bespoke treatment.

Spectrum’s tailor made approach is
represented visually by the identity.
We designed a logo which has an
almost limitless number of variations
each one taken from a randomly
generated matrix of coloured triangles.

We created extensive brand guidelines
for Spectrum outlining a cost effective
yet striking set of collateral designs.

Brand identity for fashion and home
accessories label Watts, who make their
own beautiful products, whilst also
collaborating with labels such as Albam.

Drawing inspiration from leather
working tools and rivets we created a
logo using a customised typeface. We
also commissioned a bespoke marbled
paper which is used on the stationery.
PS have an ongoing relationship with
Watts, helping to develop the brand
as it grows. There’s also a new website
coming very soon.

Art & Graft

Brand identity for moving image studio
Art & Graft. The two sides of the name
are represented by a carefully crafted
monogram and a contrasting utilitarian
choice of materials. We created a
full set of stationery and a website in
collaboration with Everywhere.

We are a design studio that creates
thoughtful, ambitious, beautiful work.
Our open-minded approach to visual
communication and branding leads
to exciting results across all media.

Underpinning each outcome is a high
level of research and critique, meaning
we are well placed to make informed
decisions with lasting benefits.

Once the challenge is fully understood
we apply a principled and reductive
methodology to designing an answer.
We avoid preconceived styles, and
always look for an appropriate visual
language for each project.
